Can I record and take pictures?
HomelabFest retains the right to record and broadcast attendee likeness at the event. Please be polite and ask permission if taking close-up photos or filming other attendees.
Exhibit / Sponsor booths restrictions
Exhibitors must abide by all rules of the St. Charles Convention Center, especially:
- No real flames allowed.
- No confetti or glitter allowed.
- Special effects must be approved, by permit only.
Food and Beverages
The St. Charles Convention Center does not allow outside food and beverages. Inside the facility there will be multiple concession stands and vending machines. Please follow the rules so we will be invited back in the future!
Hotels and Travel Accommodations
We are currently working on an official block of rooms for conference visitors. Please check back soon for details on reserving a room in our block.
Embassy Suites in St. Charles rests adjacent to the Center and offers 296 suites. There are nearly 2,000 available hotel rooms available in St. Charles.
The St. Charles Convention Center parking lot has 1,200 complimentary spaces.

The St. Louis Convention Center is located off I-70 in St. Charles, MO with easy access to highways 270, 370, 364, and 40/64.
Is there a Code of Conduct?
HomelabFest is a community-focused event. Be kind, and follow the rules of the venue.
HomelabFest, LLC and the venue reserve the right to deny entry or remove anyone who violates event rules, compromises the safety of others, or fails to follow staff instructions, without a refund.
Who runs HomelabFest?
HomelabFest was started in 2027 by Jeff Geerling, and is managed under HomelabFest, LLC, registered in the state of Missouri.
